Toni Meyer (Viva Antonia Meyer, *1988 in Frankfurt am Main) lebt und arbeitet in München und Berlin. Ihre multimediale Arbeit umfasst Fotografie, Text, Perfomance und Video. Dabei nutzt sie die digitale Technik als Hilfsmittel, um das Wahrgenommene und fotografisch Aufgenommene zu verändern, aber nur gerade so, dass man es beim zweiten Mal Hinschauen merkt. Den Herausforderungen der heutigen Gesellschaft, insbesondere Umweltthemen und der Konsumkultur im digitalen Zeitalter setzt Toni Meyer mal humoristische Überzeichnung, mal dystopische Zukunftsideen entgegen.

Toni Meyer (Viva Antonia Meyer *1988 in Frankfurt, Germany) lives and works in Munich and Berlin. Her multimedia work includes photography, text, performance and video. She uses digital technology as a tool to transform what she perceives and photographs, but only just enough until the viewer takes a second glance. Toni Meyer counters the challenges of today’s society, in particular environmental issues and consumer culture in the digital age, sometimes with humorous exaggerations, sometimes dystopian ideas for the future.
