VIVA ANTONIA MEYER

born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany

lives and works in Munich

In ihrer neuen Arbeit “Clothies (I Cleaned Out My Wardrobe)”, verbindet sie Fotografie, Video und Performance.

Toni Meyer studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin and at Goldsmiths College in London.
In her work, digital technology is an aid to changing what is perceived and recorded, only in such a way that you will notice it at second glance – or maybe not at all. With her picture puzzles Toni Meyer confronts viewers with their sometimes fast-paced perceptual behavior and puts it to the test. Big cities and consumer culture are often an engine of her work and starting point of a picture. In her new work “Clothies (I Cleaned Out My Wardrobe)” she combines photography, video and performance.
